You might be thinking where is the secret in it? We all know about emotions and we know how to suffer or enjoy them. Yes, I agree that we all know about emotions, but there is something specific about emotions which if you understand and implement, your life will be more joyful and stress-free. So, what is this secret of emotions?</p><p>Now, first, let’s understand what I mean by emotions. For me, “Emotions are strong feelings deriving from one’s circumstances, mood, or relationships with others.” If you read this definition you will observe that emotions are always dependent on the outside world. Any feeling which you have without any outer stimuli is not in my purview of the emotions I am discussing today. Emotions which do not require outer stimulation are pure feelings. These are feelings of joy, equanimity, bliss, ecstasy etc. which can be felt without any outer cause.</p><p>Some people are depressed or sad, but they do not know the cause of their sadness and hence cannot be considered as experiencing a pure feeling. People might have forgotten the reason for their sadness, but they are carrying this sadness due to some event that has happened in the outer world. If some people feel happy or joyful because today is their birthday or they got promoted or some other success, then too they are not experiencing a pure feeling as the stimulus is outside.</p><figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img src="https://www.anuragsahai.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/image.png" alt="" class="wp-image-4259"/></figure><p>Let’s see what your emotion does to you. Do you remember your first love? Your first kiss? How elevating it was? The degree of the emotions generated the first time is never achieved the next time. Due to this first emotion, you keep loving the same person or someone else but the intensity of the first emotion is never experienced and surprisingly the intensity constantly drops to a new low each time.</p><p>This feeling of never reaching the intensity of your ‘first-time emotion’ is the same for your fun parties, smoking, drinking, movies, making money, shopping etc. &nbsp;By getting trapped into this chase of experiencing the same intensity of emotions every time, secretly our emotions engage us in this chase of a mirage.</p><p>Now let’s take another scenario. Some people say they get the motivation to work or to act when they are running high on some emotion like anger, hate, fear etc. You might have heard many success stories started with a thought of revenge or to prove oneself. These people might be driven by anger or hate. Or you might have heard or seen people who start working just close to the deadlines or when something is going to fail and when they will face a grave consequence.</p><p>&nbsp;Whether you are chasing an emotion or acting with emotion, in both cases, in the end, you will feel a void inside you and your body might also have to pay the price for it. Why does this happen? It is because in the first case when you are chasing an intensity of emotion which you will never be able to get again, you overindulge in the act. Example smokers will smoke more, drinkers will drink more, lovers will have more sex etc. Generally, this creates withdrawal from other social and personal (internal/ external) activities as one is focusing on and giving energy and time to a particular act more than others. If a person is not made aware of his state, he might form a habit which might take him till the tipping point and throw him off-balance. This type of person is already feeling an absence (void) of emotion and feeling a constant failure to achieve it. Just a few other failures/challenges in the life of such a person might throw him into a mental and emotional off-balance.</p><p>In the other cases where people ride a wave of emotions and achieve success through it are constantly putting pressure on their mind, brain and the rest of the nervous system. These negative emotions of anger, hate, fear etc. not only keep them stressed but they stay in the same emotion majority of their time and create the habit of behaving out of these emotions. This habit might take them to the tipping point and throw them off-balance. This type of person always displaying the same emotions creates a negative environment in which positive feelings cannot stay long. They create a snow-ball effect of the emotions and after a while, they cannot control it. These emotions not only destroy their social relationships but also destroy their body and mind as constant negative emotions create stress and stress-related diseases.</p><figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img src="https://www.anuragsahai.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/image-1.png" alt="" class="wp-image-4260"/></figure><p>These emotions are actually making you their slave. At first, it feels that these emotions are giving you success and pleasure but later these take away your mental peace and health. These emotions also cloud your mind, and you make the wrong decisions in your life. You find it difficult to enjoy life. For this reason, I say, “leave this baggage of emotions right away”.</p><p>How to leave these emotions?</p><ol type="1"><li><strong>Get proper knowledge:</strong> First, learn from an able teacher why we get emotions and the reasons why we get trapped in them.</li><li><strong>State of high frequency: </strong>Through pure emotions, get into high frequency. There are many breathing and sound therapy techniques that help take you to a state of high frequency.</li><li><strong>Practice art of observation: </strong>Through meditation techniques build your mental muscle of observation. But&nbsp;is&nbsp;getting motivated good enough? What are the drivers/factors&nbsp;of your motivation?&nbsp;You might be one of the persons who love&nbsp;the&nbsp;speed in&nbsp;a&nbsp;car. But if you&nbsp;disregard&nbsp;safety&nbsp;and&nbsp;over speed&nbsp;then&nbsp;it can&nbsp;kill you.&nbsp;The same&nbsp;enjoyment might become&nbsp;the&nbsp;cause&nbsp;of your sorrow.&nbsp;The same is true for motivation, wrong motivational factors can&nbsp;land you in danger, ill health,&nbsp;loss&nbsp;of fame,&nbsp;loss&nbsp;of prosperity or&nbsp;you may even lose your life.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>What is motivation</strong><strong>&nbsp;and&nbsp;</strong><strong>motivation</strong><strong>&nbsp;factors</strong><strong>?</strong>&nbsp;</p><p>Motivation is a reason&nbsp;for acting or behaving in a&nbsp;particular way.&nbsp;So how&nbsp;will&nbsp;you know what&nbsp;the&nbsp;reason or factor behind your motivation is?&nbsp;Generally, people are not aware of their motivational factors.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p>People’s&nbsp;motivation unknowingly comes from&nbsp;negative drivers:&nbsp;</p><div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img src="https://www.anuragsahai.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/Negative-Drivers.png" alt="Negative drivers for Motivation" class="wp-image-4248"/></figure></div>
<p>1.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<strong>Fear:</strong>&nbsp;<a href="https://www.anuragsahai.com/how-to-conquer-fear-our-greatest-enemy/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Fear</a>&nbsp;is the most common&nbsp;factor or reason for&nbsp;motivation.&nbsp;Some&nbsp;people&nbsp;wait till the last minute of a deadline to start&nbsp;their&nbsp;work,&nbsp;as&nbsp;fear&nbsp;is their&nbsp;driving&nbsp;factor.&nbsp;Or&nbsp;some&nbsp;people&nbsp;complete the work for those people whom&nbsp;they&nbsp;fear&nbsp;or&nbsp;r&nbsp;people&nbsp;take action&nbsp;because&nbsp;they&nbsp;fear&nbsp;others’&nbsp;<a href="https://www.anuragsahai.com/5-point-guide-to-resolve-conflicts-at-work/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">criticism</a>&nbsp;and&nbsp;opinion&nbsp;or&nbsp;when&nbsp;people&nbsp;work hard at the office because&nbsp;they&nbsp;feel&nbsp;financially&nbsp;insecure.&nbsp;So,&nbsp;please check&nbsp;and&nbsp;if&nbsp;there is any ounce of&nbsp;<a href="https://www.anuragsahai.com/stop-hypnotizing-yourself-towards-your-failure/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">fear</a>&nbsp;in your thoughts before starting your work,&nbsp;then&nbsp;you are&nbsp;motivated by your fear&nbsp;too.&nbsp;</p><p>2.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<strong>Hate:</strong>&nbsp;There are&nbsp;people&nbsp;who&nbsp;promptly work against those&nbsp;they&nbsp;hate.&nbsp;Or people work against a thought very actively, then they are motivated by hate.&nbsp;We are motivated by hate&nbsp;when&nbsp;we&nbsp;want&nbsp;to prove&nbsp;others wrong.&nbsp;We are motivated by&nbsp;<a href="https://www.anuragsahai.com/your-infected-mind-can-kill-you-faster-than-the-virus/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">hate</a>&nbsp;when we want others to apologize&nbsp;to&nbsp;us.&nbsp;Just check in your heart if you are motivated because you are hating someone.&nbsp;</p><p>3.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<strong>Jealousy:</strong>&nbsp;There are people&nbsp;who&nbsp;only take action when they feel a sharp pang of&nbsp;<a href="https://www.anuragsahai.com/gratitude-the-antidote-to-mental-illness/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">jealousy</a>&nbsp;against their rivals.&nbsp;When we want to become better&nbsp;than&nbsp;others. When our success lies only in&nbsp;shining or getting&nbsp;a&nbsp;name or money more than someone,&nbsp;we are in jealousy. If we are constantly comparing ourselves&nbsp;with someone,&nbsp;then&nbsp;we are in jealousy.&nbsp;Search your heart are you unknowingly competing with someone and if&nbsp;someone’s success is hurting you?&nbsp;</p><p>4.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<strong>Anger:</strong>&nbsp;Some people only get into action when in&nbsp;<a href="https://www.anuragsahai.com/break-the-spine-of-anger-with-a-feather/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">anger</a>. People do unbelievable acts when they are in anger.&nbsp;Some call this bravado but actually,&nbsp;we get blinded&nbsp;by&nbsp;our anger and we take risky decisions. These risky decisions sometimes pay&nbsp;us&nbsp;off,&nbsp;but most of the times&nbsp;put&nbsp;us in&nbsp;the worst&nbsp;situations.&nbsp;Anger,&nbsp;as a motivation takes away more than what it gives. When we are&nbsp;so&nbsp;focused on someone that we forget our real welfare, our loved ones,&nbsp;and values,&nbsp;constantly feeling anger as an&nbsp;emotion,&nbsp;then we are motivated by&nbsp;<a href="https://www.anuragsahai.com/the-antidote-for-anger-relaxation-techniques-on-the-foot/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">anger</a>.&nbsp;A person&nbsp;motivated by&nbsp;<a href="https://www.anuragsahai.com/how-positive-environment-beats-anger/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">anger</a>&nbsp;is so negatively motivated that he/she would&nbsp;like to destroy others even it means their own&nbsp;destruction.&nbsp;Just check in your&nbsp;<a href="https://www.anuragsahai.com/conscious-thought-conquer-conflicting-choices/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">subconscious</a>&nbsp;mind if you are really working for your real welfare or you are constantly focused on someone else?&nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p><strong>5. Greed:</strong>&nbsp;Some people are motivated by their&nbsp;<a href="https://www.anuragsahai.com/stop-letting-greed-take-over-your-need/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">greed</a>.&nbsp;<a href="https://www.anuragsahai.com/stop-letting-greed-take-over-your-need/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Greed</a>&nbsp;is when you&nbsp;have what you desired&nbsp;for,&nbsp;but you still want more.&nbsp;In&nbsp;greed,&nbsp;things which you desire are never enough. Like you can have&nbsp;money,&nbsp;but you want&nbsp;more,&nbsp;and&nbsp;money&nbsp;is&nbsp;never enough.&nbsp;This is&nbsp;greed for money.&nbsp;So, check if you are working because you&nbsp;act only if you&nbsp;want more of something&nbsp;with greed in mind&nbsp;- then you are motivated by greed.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>6.</strong>&nbsp;<strong>Strong</strong>&nbsp;<strong>Attachment:</strong>&nbsp;There are people who&nbsp;get&nbsp;the&nbsp;drive to take action when they are feeling&nbsp;a&nbsp;strong&nbsp;<a href="https://www.anuragsahai.com/before-anyone-else-be-your-own-friend/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">attachment</a>&nbsp;towards something or someone.&nbsp;If the thought of losing a cause which&nbsp;you are attached&nbsp;to,&nbsp;motivates you&nbsp;or&nbsp;if you feel motivated when&nbsp;someone you are attached&nbsp;to,&nbsp;then you are motivated with&nbsp;a&nbsp;strong attachment.&nbsp;Strong attachment&nbsp;is&nbsp;a&nbsp;negative emotion because it takes away&nbsp;your&nbsp;capacity to think logically and you&nbsp;take your eyes away from your welfare.&nbsp;</p><p>The above are negative emotions but unknowingly we think these are positive factors and are the real motivators in life.&nbsp;Also,&nbsp;it is easy to operate from these motivational factors because&nbsp;our mind has&nbsp;a&nbsp;negativity bias.&nbsp;Our animal&nbsp;and emotional brain are very active and take these motivational factors&nbsp;essential for&nbsp;survival.&nbsp;Once something is attached&nbsp;to&nbsp;survival,&nbsp;then it&nbsp;has zero resistance from&nbsp;the&nbsp;brain and mind.&nbsp;But in the long run, these negative emotions take more than what they give. They take away your health and peace of&nbsp;body and&nbsp;mind.&nbsp;</p><p>We should work with positive&nbsp;motivational&nbsp;drivers, like:&nbsp;</p><figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img src="https://www.anuragsahai.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/image.jpeg" alt="A picture containing ride, food

They can go far and beyond for their lover&nbsp;and what they love.&nbsp;Love is a positive&nbsp;emotion and different from attachment.&nbsp;In general,&nbsp;people&nbsp;<a href="https://www.anuragsahai.com/conscious-thought-conquer-conflicting-choices/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">confuse</a>&nbsp;<a href="https://www.anuragsahai.com/bridge-the-gap-in-the-relationship-with-your-parents-part-2/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">attachment</a>&nbsp;with&nbsp;love,&nbsp;but love is an emotion&nbsp;that&nbsp;gives you courage&nbsp;and&nbsp;feeds you&nbsp;with positive energy. This positive energy&nbsp;gives you&nbsp;the&nbsp;power of&nbsp;creativity and innovation.&nbsp;Unlike attachment,&nbsp;love does not blind you from your own welfare and creates a win-win situation.&nbsp;You should know you are motivated by love if you&nbsp;wish well for everyone&nbsp;involved&nbsp;in&nbsp;the act&nbsp;-&nbsp;even for&nbsp;your opponents.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>2.</strong>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<strong>Compassion:</strong>&nbsp;People are motivated when they see other people in need, as this fills their heart with compassion.&nbsp;There is a difference between feeling&nbsp;pity&nbsp;for someone&nbsp;and&nbsp;being compassionate. When we feel&nbsp;pity,&nbsp;we&nbsp;feel&nbsp;the&nbsp;other is suffering and&nbsp;we&nbsp;can give,&nbsp;this comes from the mindset of&nbsp;feeling powerful. Pity is&nbsp;the&nbsp;outcome of our ego.&nbsp;On the other hand,&nbsp;a&nbsp;compassionate person only wants to help others without thinking if he has&nbsp;the&nbsp;power&nbsp;to truly resolve the issue or not.&nbsp;A compassionate person will stand next to the needy&nbsp;because he cannot leave the person in need. This is a very&nbsp;positive feeling as this gives&nbsp;you&nbsp;the&nbsp;power to innovate or create in adverse situations.&nbsp;In the complete process,&nbsp;compassion does not make you feel weak.&nbsp;<a href="https://www.anuragsahai.com/5-point-guide-to-resolve-conflicts-at-work/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Compassion</a>&nbsp;gives you more energy and power&nbsp;and does not require external support, it is self-sustaining and good for everyone.&nbsp;If you are standing and supporting&nbsp;a&nbsp;person&nbsp;in need without expecting praise or any other&nbsp;benefit,&nbsp;then you are&nbsp;<a href="https://www.anuragsahai.com/law-of-attraction-remove-your-blindspots-and-achieve-success/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">motivated</a>&nbsp;by compassion.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p><figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img src="https://www.anuragsahai.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/image-1.jpeg" alt="Background pattern

Description automatically generated" class="wp-image-4245"/></figure><p><strong>3.</strong>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<strong>Joy:</strong>&nbsp;When people work out of&nbsp;<a href="https://www.anuragsahai.com/7-ways-you-can-self-sabotage-your-own-success/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">joy</a>&nbsp;then&nbsp;they&nbsp;get into&nbsp;a&nbsp;higher creative zone. People working with joy&nbsp;can&nbsp;create&nbsp;wonderful new things&nbsp;that&nbsp;can fulfil&nbsp;the&nbsp;requirements of&nbsp;many,&nbsp;and&nbsp;the best thing is that&nbsp;this is done without feeling the pressure of performance.&nbsp;Getting and spreading&nbsp;<a href="https://www.anuragsahai.com/are-you-stuck-in-the-clock-move-with-its-hands/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">joy</a>&nbsp;by creating a win-win situation in life motivates many people to do something.&nbsp;On the other&nbsp;hand,&nbsp;people who perform because they feel responsible&nbsp;for&nbsp;what they have to do,&nbsp;feel pressure and lose their&nbsp;<a href="https://www.anuragsahai.com/7chakrasandhealthylife/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">health</a>.&nbsp;Many painters,&nbsp;musicians,&nbsp;and creative artists just perform for their&nbsp;<a href="https://www.anuragsahai.com/how-exercise-helps-you-enjoy-life-and-be-stress-free/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">joy</a>&nbsp;and by doing so they&nbsp;excel in&nbsp;their creativity.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>4. Higher&nbsp;</strong><strong>C</strong><strong>ause:</strong>&nbsp;Some people give their lives for&nbsp;a&nbsp;higher cause.&nbsp;But&nbsp;an&nbsp;understanding of this higher cause is very tricky. As&nbsp;many contradicting activities can look the same. Like soldiers protect their country and for that,&nbsp;if they have to kill&nbsp;the enemy&nbsp;at&nbsp;the border is considered&nbsp;a&nbsp;higher cause. But&nbsp;terrorist&nbsp;attacking&nbsp;innocent&nbsp;public, women, children, and elderly people&nbsp;cannot be&nbsp;for&nbsp;a&nbsp;higher cause.&nbsp;So,&nbsp;people who have proper wisdom can only understand what&nbsp;a higher cause is.&nbsp;This&nbsp;<a href="https://www.anuragsahai.com/enjoy-live-life-to-the-fullest-with-meditation/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">motivation</a>&nbsp;has been&nbsp;misused&nbsp;in these times by many miscreants.&nbsp;As a thumb rule,&nbsp;higher cause is which spreads happiness and joy in all&nbsp;levels of society without any&nbsp;discrimination&nbsp;and in return makes you feel joyful&nbsp;and peaceful.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p>These positive&nbsp;drivers&nbsp;have&nbsp;<a href="https://www.anuragsahai.com/the-secret-behind-sustained-peace-of-mind/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">motivated</a>&nbsp;many greats like Mother Teresa, Mahatma Gandhi, Nelson Mandela, Jesus Christ, Buddha, Swami Vivekananda, etc. These positive&nbsp;drivers/factors&nbsp;create great power in people and their names get immortalized.&nbsp;</p><p class="has-vivid-red-color has-text-color">&nbsp;Till you read my next blog, till then <strong><em>Work on Your Motivation, Stay Healthy, and Stress-free!!</em></strong>&nbsp;</p></div></div>

At the look of it, you feel after this course or therapy or retreat I will be forever peaceful. Generally, people think that once you have reached the state of peace then, you will have it forever. But this is not the case. Let’s first understand “what is peace?”</strong></p><h4><strong>What is peace? </strong></h4><p><strong>When your mind becomes free from internal disturbance, we are at peace. </strong></p><h4><strong>But how to be at peace?</strong></h4><figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img src="https://www.anuragsahai.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/10/image.png" alt="" class="wp-image-4237"/></figure><p><strong>Our mind is disturbed due to external challenges and emotional turmoil. These external and internal disturbances are interlinked. When we face external challenges, we get into internal disturbances which take away our peace. So first things first – some corrections in our behaviour and actions.</strong></p><ol><li><strong>Prioritise your work: </strong>Pending and accumulated work always creates pressure in your mind. Unconsciously your mind keeps track of your tasks and unknowingly creates pressure if there is a delay. Pressure in the mind takes away your peace. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li><strong>Learn to let go: </strong>In every activity, there are tasks which you can control and some which are not in your control. You have to learn to let go of the tasks which are not in your control. Worrying about tasks that are not in your hand will create more pressure in your head and this will take away your peace. Put your focus and attention where you have control.</li><li><strong>Do not be a pleaser: </strong>People spend their life performing actions to please others. If you are one of those who always thinks what others will think or say before each action, then you know the constant pressure your mind faces before each. So, you should not be thinking about others while working but you should focus on what needs to be done. Self-love is the antidote to pleasing others and creates peace of mind.</li><li><strong>Forgive: </strong>You might have noticed when someone insults you or disagrees with you, these events are played and replayed by our mind. Whatever you do these unpleasant thoughts keep bothering you. You can temporally engage your mind in some work but as soon as your mind is free, these thoughts catch-up and disturb your peace. Humans are social animals and if you can be a service to society, it gives you a satisfaction that you will not get when you keep satisfying your desires. Helping others is a higher value which is ingrained in every human being’s value system. Whenever your actions match your value system you feel peace of mind along with happiness.</li><li>Be in Gratitude: Your peace of mind is lost if you are always focused on what is missing in your life because your mind keeps reminding you of this. For example, if you are having a shortage of money and you keep focusing on it, then you cannot focus on increasing your revenue. I can understand you might say it is reality and you are just thinking about the facts, but what I am pointing out is that you might be thinking about your shortfall too many times in a day. Some people add their logic to the data available, and then they call it intuition. Intuition is something you come to know without any prior conscious resource or knowledge about it. It happens automatically without overthinking or dipping into your memory.</strong></p><p><strong>Intuition is when a mother with her instinct calls her child when they need help or are not well. Intuition works pretty well between people who are connected emotionally.</strong><strong>Intuition is when you are walking in the thick vegetation and suddenly you have the instinct to stop and look down carefully and you see a snake there!</strong><strong>Intuition is when you keep some extra cash in your wallet and suddenly you have the need to use it.</strong></p><h4><strong>Are Intuition and Gut feeling the same?</strong></h4><p><strong>Some people take their gut feeling as intuition. Gut feeling is also very intuitive, but it is not the type of intuition I am talking about. Gut feeling is associated with your gut region. Humans are biologically hardwired for survival and it is related to the child’s first cell which is formed in the womb. This cell has all the survival data from the parents, and it stays in the navel of the human body. The signals from this cell is called gut feeling.</strong></p><h4><strong>Where does Intuition come from?</strong></h4><p><strong>Intuition originates in the super consciousness and is received by our right brain and it becomes stronger and accurate if the person’s midbrain is activated. I find most of my friends also feel the same way or that they believe that they lack intuition.</strong></p><p><strong>Let me tell you that everyone has intuition. We are born with it. Just think of those times when you have called your friend or lover and he/she said that they were thinking about you. The thought that asked you to call your friend was your intuition. If you can differentiate between your emotions from the feelings you are receiving from super consciousness, then only you can be intuitive.</li><li><strong>Good Emotional Connect with Others: </strong>If you can connect with people at the emotional level and understand their <a href="https://www.anuragsahai.com/stop-hypnotizing-yourself-towards-your-failure/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">emotions</a> then you can be an intuitive person. How? Because for intuition, you have to use the right side of your brain and the right brain is also the seat of emotions. Like, do not watch pornography or photos which stimulates your senses beyond your control. Do not take too much alcohol or drugs which shuts your Buddhi (Intellect) and makes your ego go unchecked. It is good to create healthy hobbies because it keeps your senses and mind occupied and distracts them from lust.</li><li><strong>Witnessing:</strong> Chitta is that part of the <a href="https://www.anuragsahai.com/your-infected-mind-can-kill-you-faster-than-the-virus/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">mind</a> which you need to be aware of in order to become free from the lust. By disciplining your <a href="https://www.anuragsahai.com/your-infected-mind-can-kill-you-faster-than-the-virus/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">mind</a> and senses you can create some level of awareness. With further training, you develop the muscles of your brain to develop better awareness, and when the awareness is developed, you become a witness. Now you start witnessing your own thoughts of lust. Let your lust thoughts generate in your <a href="https://www.anuragsahai.com/your-infected-mind-can-kill-you-faster-than-the-virus/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">mind</a> and you watch them in aloof attention without judging them. The thoughts will rise and will reach its peak, if you do not get attached to them, they will lose their energy and then fade away. In this way, in witnessing you can transcend lust. This energy has to go through the hollow of the spine called Sushumnaa Naadi in yogic sciences. When this energy goes beyond the crown chakra then it is called Kundalini awakening.</p><p>But how this energy is related to sex? As per yogic sciences, the <a rel="noreferrer noopener" href="https://www.anuragsahai.com/shift-from-force-power/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Power</a> of Kundalini is related to the formation of a fetus in the womb, so it is directly related to procreation and hence sex. In the science of Tantra, the experience of Kundalini is compared with the ecstasy of sex. It is written that Kundalini gives 1000 times more ecstasy as compared to sexual orgasm. For this, you have to start treating everyone as equal and expect failures as natural and part of life.</p><p><strong>Shift to Learning Mindset:</strong> The second transformation we have to bring is to shift from fear-based thoughts to learning-based life. So, whenever you commit a mistake or things do not go as you wanted, look into the learning behind that situation. Do we know what is a zone and its importance in our lives?</p><p><strong><u>Zone:</u></strong> Zone is an Energy Field around us which is created by our mind and body through <a href="https://www.anuragsahai.com/conscious-thought-conquer-conflicting-choices/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">thoughts</a>, emotions, and perception. This energy field when positive, helps us to achieve our goals by giving us a feeling of fulfilment, joy, love, and bliss. When this <a href="https://www.anuragsahai.com/easy-tips-to-success-6-point-energy-and-time-management-strategy/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">energy</a> field is negative then even if we achieve our goals, it leaves us with the feeling of sorrow, anger, guilt, and resentment.</p><p><strong><u>Power Vs Force Zone:</u></strong></p><figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img src="https://www.anuragsahai.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/08/Power-Vs-Force.png" alt="" class="wp-image-4194"/></figure><p>This terminology Power and Force is made famous by the book <strong><em>“Power vs Force”</em></strong> by David R. Hawkins. In the logarithmic scale until the 200<sup>th</sup> power of 10 (10^200), it is the force zone and above it i.e. from the 250<sup>th</sup> power of 10 (10^250) is the Power zone. In simple terms, it means that the emotions which pull our energy field down, in the long run, are the emotions from the force zone, and emotions that increase our energy field are the emotions of the power zone. Another difference between Power and Force is that Power is self-sustainable and does not require outside support, on the other hand, force is not self-sustainable and requires outside support and energy.</p><p>So, Shame, Guilt, Apathy, Grief, Fear, Desire, <a href="https://www.anuragsahai.com/how-positive-environment-beats-anger/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Anger</a>, and Pride are in Force Zone or these create the Force Zone. Courage, Neutrality, Willingness, Acceptance, Reason, Love, Joy, Peace, Enlightenment are in the Power Zone or they create the Power Zone.</p><p>Now the question is how to know which zone you are operating from?</p><p>To know this, you have to be aware of your emotions and feelings. While performing or thinking of activity, if you have emotions of Humiliation, Blame, Despair, Regret, Anxiety, Craving, Hate, and Scorn then you are in the force zone.</p><p>While performing or thinking of an activity if you have emotions of Affirmation, Trust, Optimism, <a href="https://www.anuragsahai.com/forgiveness-is-the-biggest-healer/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Forgiveness</a>, Understanding, Reverence, Serenity, Bliss, and Ineffable then you are in the power zone.</p><p>Even if you do not want to categorize your emotions or you are not aware of them then just keep a watch on your feeling. The feeling should be always towards happiness and joy to remain in Power Zone. If that shifts towards lethargy and sadness, then you are shifting towards force zone.</p><p>Now the question is how to Shift from Force to Power Zone at will?</p><ol type="1"><li><strong>Change your thoughts:</strong> When you find yourself shifting towards the force zone, just stop thinking about what you are thinking immediately, as this is the thought which is putting you in the force zone. Now change your thought and start thinking of something happy or joyful. This will put you back in the power zone right away. Sustain this thought for some time and then deal with your situation wisely.</li><li>Through Witnessing: By increasing your awareness, you will be able to know what puts you in the force zone and what takes you to the power zone. So, when your negative emotions are taking over, just watch them with acute attention. In this witnessing state, your negative thoughts will dissolve, and it will put you back in the power zone.</li><li>Through Meditation: Meditation is a great way to create a power zone or to become aware of it. You can create awareness and delete your fears in meditation.</li><li>Listening to Music: By listening to good classical music or by listening to calibrated gongs and bowls, you can shift your energy field from force to power.
