Are you aware that there is a very Powerful Hidden Side of Your Mind? This is more powerful and resourceful than you ever thought. It can motivate you much more than your negative emotions ever can. It can make you stress-free. This side of the mind is key to sustained success.

Are you surprised? You might be thinking I am talking fairy tale. Believe me, I am not talking about some myth or a fairy tale. It is proven that there is a part of our mind that is different from the part where your regular thoughts arise, or where your memories are, or where your intellect resides. This place in your mind is beyond your thoughts, intellect, and memory. So, how to know and use Powerful Hidden Side of Your Mind?

This part of the mind is only felt in deep meditation and it is free from all the modifications of the mind. This is the true form of our mind or let’s say the base of our mind. Everything else like memory, intellect, and thoughts are residing on this. Now the question is, if we can reach this place only through meditation, how people who are not practicing meditation access it?

The answer is simple: through the positivity of our minds. This is the reason some people call the power of this part of our mind ‘positive quotient’ or ‘positive intelligence’. Before we understand how to live with positive intelligence, we need to know how we are living today. You are living with fear-based motivators today.

Fear-Based Living and Motivators

As we know the negative side of our mind which is driven by fear creates lots of negative emotions and uses fear itself to create a force to survive. Survival is the only target for the fear-based actions. The fear-controlled mind generates the emotion of Guilt, Shame, Sadness, Hate, Anger, or Courage to counter the challenges thrown at it. The response however, comes from the person’s perception which he/she has created from childhood. To create the perception, we judge ourselves and the people around us. In this process we decide if we have to become

  • a Pleaser (who pleases everyone), or
  • an Achiever (whose main driver is to achieve in life), or
  • a Perfectionist (who runs behind the illusionary perfection), or
  • a Controller (who tries to control every situation and everyone around), or
  • a Vigilant (who is always concerned about the security around), or
  • a Victim (who never take control of their power and always blame others for their issues), or
  • an Avoider (who procrastinates everything), or
  • a Rational (who tries to justify everything through logic)

All the above motivators are stemming from our collection of fearful memories, survival intelligence, and fearful thoughts.

This way of thinking and leading life will never let you feel constant joy and bliss. Your life will become the journey of sorrow and failures. You need to keep yourself at high alert all the time which is not possible. In the end, this way of living drains all your energy and life force and you die after an unfulfilled life. Hence this is not the preferred way of living. The truth however is that we are born with this mindset.

So, to live with positive intelligence we have to change the way we perceive our world. Now let’s see how to activate this positive intelligence.

Activate Positive Intelligence or Quotient

For activating Positive Intelligence or Quotient, here are the ways:

Do not Judge: The first transformation is that you have to stop judging yourself or stop blaming yourself. This can only be done if your expectation from yourself and others are realistic. For this, you have to start treating everyone as equal and expect failures as natural and part of life.

Shift to Learning Mindset: The second transformation we have to bring is to shift from fear-based thoughts to learning-based life. So, whenever you commit a mistake or things do not go as you wanted, look into the learning behind that situation. This can only happen when you treat every situation of life as a learning opportunity.

Keep Emotions in check: The third transformation is to keep the emotions in check. Do not let your emotions hijack you because emotions will paralyze your rational mind and you will entangle in the problem rather than resolving it. Just before getting hijacked by emotions, choose to take a different path which is more rational and problem-solving.

Understand and Sympathize with Others: Try to understand others whom you are in conflict with or trying to get your work done from. Try to visualize what made them this unreasonable or unskilled person. Maybe they were not like this or that they might have undergone tremendous challenges in their lives, which created this personality of theirs. This thought will create understanding and sympathy for others in you.

Adjust or Innovate: Now when you have understood others or situations, the next step is to try to innovatively create a solution or adjust to the challenging situation.

Be in Gratitude: Bring gratitude in every moment of your life or at least gratitude towards good things in your life. This connects you greatly to the powers of the untapped mind. This trains your mind to look for the positive side of life.

Forgiveness: Forgive people who have wronged you or people who have hurt you knowingly or unknowingly. Also, ask for forgiveness from the people you have hurt. This takes away a large portion of your fear, anger, hatred, and other negative emotions.

When you follow the above steps and transform your life, suddenly you will see that a new power emerges within you which is not dependent on your environment. You will suddenly become a self-guided blissful personality and suddenly without knowing, you will be connected to the Powerful Hidden Side of Your Mind. This pure positive side of your mind is more powerful than any of the emotions you know and you will have the immense creative capability in all phases of your life. All great men and women knew this secret and they created their lives on the above principles and achieved impossible feats.
