Yes, I am going to tell you how to shift from force to the power zone. But before I start, I need to make sure everyone understands the difference between force and power. Do we know what is a zone and its importance in our lives?
Zone: Zone is an Energy Field around us which is created by our mind and body through thoughts, emotions, and perception. This energy field when positive, helps us to achieve our goals by giving us a feeling of fulfilment, joy, love, and bliss. When this energy field is negative then even if we achieve our goals, it leaves us with the feeling of sorrow, anger, guilt, and resentment.
Power Vs Force Zone:

This terminology Power and Force is made famous by the book “Power vs Force” by David R. Hawkins. In the logarithmic scale until the 200th power of 10 (10^200), it is the force zone and above it i.e. from the 250th power of 10 (10^250) is the Power zone. In simple terms, it means that the emotions which pull our energy field down, in the long run, are the emotions from the force zone, and emotions that increase our energy field are the emotions of the power zone. Another difference between Power and Force is that Power is self-sustainable and does not require outside support, on the other hand, force is not self-sustainable and requires outside support and energy.
So, Shame, Guilt, Apathy, Grief, Fear, Desire, Anger, and Pride are in Force Zone or these create the Force Zone. Courage, Neutrality, Willingness, Acceptance, Reason, Love, Joy, Peace, Enlightenment are in the Power Zone or they create the Power Zone.
Now the question is how to know which zone you are operating from?
To know this, you have to be aware of your emotions and feelings. While performing or thinking of activity, if you have emotions of Humiliation, Blame, Despair, Regret, Anxiety, Craving, Hate, and Scorn then you are in the force zone.
While performing or thinking of an activity if you have emotions of Affirmation, Trust, Optimism, Forgiveness, Understanding, Reverence, Serenity, Bliss, and Ineffable then you are in the power zone.
Even if you do not want to categorize your emotions or you are not aware of them then just keep a watch on your feeling. The feeling should be always towards happiness and joy to remain in Power Zone. If that shifts towards lethargy and sadness, then you are shifting towards force zone.
Now the question is how to Shift from Force to Power Zone at will?
- Change your thoughts: When you find yourself shifting towards the force zone, just stop thinking about what you are thinking immediately, as this is the thought which is putting you in the force zone. Now change your thought and start thinking of something happy or joyful. This will put you back in the power zone right away. Sustain this thought for some time and then deal with your situation wisely.
- Through Witnessing: By increasing your awareness, you will be able to know what puts you in the force zone and what takes you to the power zone. So, when your negative emotions are taking over, just watch them with acute attention. In this witnessing state, your negative thoughts will dissolve, and it will put you back in the power zone.
- Through Meditation: Meditation is a great way to create a power zone or to become aware of it. You can create awareness and delete your fears in meditation.
- Listening to Music: By listening to good classical music or by listening to calibrated gongs and bowls, you can shift your energy field from force to power. I have helped many people’s by bringing their minds back to the power zone with sound therapy. It is a fantastic, proven technique.
- Through Alignment: By aligning your body through the Life Align process which I use, you can shift yourself from force to the power zone. In this process, a tag on your head, hands and legs create a positive vibration in your body and mind and you are instantaneously in the power zone.
- Do what you Say or Think: When we are rooted in truth, we are always in the power zone. If we do what we say and say what we think, then we are aligned in our thoughts, words, and actions. This alignment creates a power zone.
- Laughter Yoga: Laughter is the best medicine to put you in the power zone. So, laugh to reduce your stress and anger.
- Yoga and Exercise: If you are creating a force zone through stress and lethargy then yoga or exercise is the best way to get into the power zone.
There are many more ways to lift and stay in the Power Zone and these are just a few easy ways that you can start practicing now to create a power zone.
